The lock is designed to fit on to the Emergency C Coupling on the trailer preventing the attachment of air hoses on a tractor unit to the trailer, locking the trailer brakes on and stopping it from being moved. Excellent means of ensuring that unroadworthy trailers are not moved.
Designed by Illston and Robson, a manufacturer of air line couplings for commercial vehicles, this product is an effective means of safely preventing unauthorised coupling of trailers. A tried and tested product, with over 3000 sold to date, the new model comes with a weather resistant finish and reflective cover.
Locks are supplied in any quantity required and have the option, at a small premium, of being keyed alike - essential to a large fleet user. The locks are marked individually with key details for traceability.

We are also able to provide a dummy C Coupling to store the lock with the trailer when not in use. For safe storage away from the vehicle the lock keys can be stored inside the unit.
To fit the coupling: simply push the lock onto the male - sliding the outer sleeve forward until it clicks.
No need to lock with the key.
